Implements Vision for Next Generation Event Marketing Solutions for the Technology Industry
SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 7, 2004--MediaLive International, Inc. today announced the acquisition of WingateWeb LLC, a leading developer of event management software. WingateWeb produces the industry's most powerful, scalable, and affordable end-to-end event management software solution; including registration, conference and content management, event logistics and on-site services. The acquisition enables MediaLive International to offer complete event solutions that raise the bar for the industry by significantly improving the customer experience at events.WingateWeb will become an integral part of MediaLive International's continued build-out of its Active TechBuyer database, a resource that enhances the communication between technology marketers and buyers at events and throughout the year. This approach represents the first of its kind in the industry and lays the groundwork for more comprehensive products that will create ongoing opportunities for the Active Interchange of ideas, knowledge and experience between buyers and sellers.

Tom Karren will assume the role of vice president and general manager of MediaLive International's newly formed WingateWeb division. Additionally, co-founders Ty Allen and Doug Baird will serve as vice presidents of the division.
