Leader in IP Management Seeks to Maximize Dallas Growth Opportunities
PLANO, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 20, 2004--Ipsum Networks, the emerging leader in end-to-end IP management solutions, today announced it has become a member of the Metroplex Technology Business Council (MTBC), an association of technology companies dedicated to the development and growth of a global center of excellence for the Telecom Corridor(R) area and North Texas region. Ipsum Networks recently relocated to the Metroplex because the area is an attractive base for a technology start-up. Joining the MTBC expands the resources, such as technology development, leadership, education, and human resources, available to Ipsum Networks. It also provides a valuable forum to exchange business development opportunities with other leading technology companies in the area.
"MTBC welcomes an industry leader like Ipsum Networks to the Dallas area and to the organization," said Ron Robinson, president of the MTBC. "We encourage their participation in our many committees and events to develop business relationships with local community leaders."
Ipsum plans to support the many MTBC events which promote collaboration between local technology companies. In addition, to further the Company's aggressive growth plan, Ipsum plans to participate in the various MTBC programs for networking, lead generation and introductions, business development, and technology advocacy.
"As a newcomer to the Metroplex, Ipsum wants to successfully leverage the area's technology opportunities. We joined MTBC to take advantage of the networking, educational, and business development opportunities," said Dana R. Brown, CEO of Ipsum Networks. Ms. Brown, a long-time Dallas area resident, co-founded MetaSolv Software, another MTBC member, in 1992.
Ipsum develops technology solutions to increase the availability and performance of critical applications and services by improving the responsiveness and predictability of the underlying IP network. The Company's flagship product, RouteDynamics, provides visibility into network-wide, multi-protocol IP routing activity, enabling users to predict, monitor, and analyze routing problems. Network administrators can rapidly identify and perform real-time diagnosis of routing instabilities, which account for over 50% of application performance problems.
