ORBIT BRANDS CORPORATION Appoints New Chief Executive Officer for Its Voice Over Internet Phone Company, SMARTVoice Telecommunications Inc.

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 6, 2004--ORBIT BRANDS CORPORATION (NASDAQ:OBTV) is pleased to announce the appointment of Charles "Pat" Shuster as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of its wholly owned subsidiary, SMARTVoice(TM) Telecommunications Inc. Mr. Shuster stated, "we have assembled a team of experienced professionals that are focused on bringing the many benefits of IP Telephony to our customers. Mr. Shuster spent 20 years in the Navy's submarine service and retired as a Commander. Since leaving the Navy, he has worked for a variety of companies in the telecommunications industry, such as Siecor, NEC, Fitel, General, ANT/Bosch Telecommunications and Net.com. Mr. Shuster founded SMARTVoice as a Georgia corporation in 2003. Mr. Shuster holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, and a Masters degree in Nuclear Engineering from Cornell University.
